n 2020 the biggest uprising in modern history of Belarus happened in attempt to bring down the dictatorship. For months, people were struggling on the streets of different towns. The movement of hundreds of thousands shook the region with the belief that people can liberate themselves from the authoritarian regime of Alexander Lukashenko.
Anarchists also played an important role in the whole protest movement, pushing the ideas of decentralization and self-organizing. With comrades participating in weekly marches as well as organizing in the neighborhood assemblies and direct actions.
